Counselling
We can assist you to develop strategies to manage life and work stressors, improve your physical and emotional wellbeing, and establish a better work and life balance.
Employee Assistance
We offer confidential individual counselling and support for employees experiencing personal and work related issues. Our counsellors operate within a brief therapy framework, with most clients undertaking between 3 – 6 sessions. We provide a range of support modalities including face-to-face counselling, telephone counselling, counselling in the workplace, and at the client’s residence if requested. This service can be of use to employees who may be experiencing issues related to:

Our psychologists are registered with Medicare to provide counselling services under a GP-referred Mental Health Care Plan. This entitles clients to receive Medicare rebates for 6-12 sessions of confidential individual counselling.
Early Intervention Program
Following the successful implementation and delivery of Dr. Russell’s Early Intervention Program throughout the Victorian Government, Russell Professional Group was selected as a preferred provider of Early Intervention services to Queensland Government departments. This exceptional employee support program addresses both the causes and consequences of psychological injuries (e.g. stress, depression, anxiety) in the workplace. The program is flexible in catering to both individual and organisational needs, by combining intensive support for an unwell employee, with management coaching and conflict resolution strategies to address associated workplace issues.
Rehabilitation and RTW Programs
We provide rehabilitation counselling and external case management for employees with a psychological injury (e.g. stress, depression, anxiety) that may be impacting on their performance at work. Where an employee is off work, we can also assist in the development and monitoring of a suitable return-to-work plan.
Health and Wellbeing Assessment
If you are concerned about the wellness of a work team, but are not sure how to act on those concerns, a health and wellbeing assessment may be the solution. We select from a range of data gathering alternatives (such as confidential interviews with key stakeholders, or focus groups) to diagnose the issues impacting on the team, and offer our recommendations and guidance to implement appropriate strategies.
Stress Audit
We draw on well-researched and proven methodologies to identify the primary sources of stress in your organisation, and the impact that these may be having on productivity. We then offer guidance and support to assist you to implement appropriate strategies to address them.
